Initiative to bring uncultivated land under cultivation in Char area of Faridpur The district administration has taken an initiative to bring about six and a half thousand acres of land under cultivation in Charbhadrasan Upazila of Faridpur. For that purpose, farmers of Charbhadrasan upazila came to the field of Ambikapur of Sadar Upazila of Faridpur of Shahida Begum, the country's model onion seed farmer, on Thursday afternoon. Department of District Administration and Agriculture Extension organized charabhadrasan to encourage fodder farmers to inform them about the modern farming practices of onion seeds and brought them to field level inspection. Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Md. Kamrul Ahsan Talukdar, Charbhadrasan upazila executive officer. Mehdi Morshed was present. Later they were toured to a few places to give a realistic idea of the production of some other crops that can be produced on pasture land.
